Blood pressure is the pressure exerted on the walls of blood vessels as they flow through them. Normal blood pressure is 90-140mmHg systolic and 60-90mmHg diastolic.
Systolic blood pressure ≥140mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥90mmhg is diagnosed as hypertension.
