Injections to lower blood sugar

One is insulin, which is used by people with type 1 diabetes and those with longer-lasting type 2 diabetes. With the prolongation of the disease, the function of islet B cells gradually declines, unable to fully secrete insulin, and can only rely on exogenous insulin to lower blood sugar.

The other is a GLP-1 agonist, which stimulates insulin production, blocks glucagon production, reduces liver glycogen breakdown, delays gastric emptying, and lowers fasting blood sugar two hours after meals.
